Thanks thanks thanks, is a word that comes to my mind when I think of ELP. I studied for 1 year at the ELP and it was the best decision that I have made in my life. I think of the moment when I arrived in Philadelphia for the first time, and it seems to me it was yesterday. Attending ELP gave me the opportunity of making new friends. Having the best teachers who helped me improve my reading, listening, speaking and writing in English, made a big difference.
ELP offered a lot of cultural activities where I had many experiences. Philadelphia is located near NY and Washington DC. During this year I traveled a lot to these two big cities. It was a wonderful year, where I had the chance to go and watch the US OPEN tennis finals and the Major League Baseball World Series. I met people from around the world that I never thought of meeting. Attending ELP gave me this opportunity. Being here at ELP helped me change my way of thinking in a positive way and I matured a lot.
I don't want to leave to go back to Colombia, my country, without thanking my teachers for their dedication. I would also like to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to come to ELP and for believing in me since the first moment that I talked to them about wanting to come to ELP. Thank you, Dad and Mom, for supporting me.
