What Stephanie Ackerman does: At the ELP, she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing and enrollment, from developing and implementing marketing campaigns to managing student recruitment and admissions. She is happy to address questions regarding your application, bill, health insurance, and basic immigration concerns. If she does not have the answer to your question, she will help connect you to someone else or another organization with more information.
Experience: She started as an EFL teacher in Spain in 2014. After moving back to the United States, Ms. Ackerman worked as a course coordinator for a TEFL school in Madrid. She developed a passion for working with international students within a higher education institution after working in this capacity. She joined the ELP team in August 2019, where she continues to enjoy working with a diverse population of students.
Travels: When she was in college, she studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain, and then lived and taught English in Madrid, Spain after graduation. Since then, she has enjoyed traveling in Israel, Morocco, Greece, Costa Rica, Curacao, and many places in Europe and the United States.
