Having a great chance to study English in the United States, my choice fell on the English Language Program of the University of Pennsylvania. Fortunately, I have no regrets about my choice.
My goals were to have high scores on the IELTS and GRE exams and enter a US university. ELP helped me to fulfill my goals. Firstly, experienced and accessible teachers were always ready to help me with any problems. The ELP staff and the University Connection (UniConn) team helped me to reach my objectives. Particularly, I have successfully passed the IELTS (Overall band score is 7.5) and I have been admitted by several universities in the United States. I really appreciate the hard work of teachers on my English and countless hours of the GRE training and meticulous revision of my application essays under the supervision of the UniConn team.

Speaking about the experience that I’ve acquired here, I would say that everything, beginning with organizational issues and ending with educational content, was perfect and well-prepared for foreign students. As an example, I want to mention the fact that I was in Philly with my spouse and ELP staff helped me with housing for two of us and my wife was always welcome to all the events within the framework of my education at the ELP.
Another advantage of the ELP education is meeting with people from all over the world. The ELP at UPenn gathers lots of students with a huge range of cultural background. It has really broadened my mind and made me rethink my approach on many different things. Now I have a lot of friends from Saudi Arabia, Japan, Colombia, Kuwait, Oman, and other countries.
