I came to the ELP from Fall 1 2022 to Summer 2 2023, six sessions, a whole year. I am a university student, and ELP is one of the exchange programs of my university. I want to improve my English for my life goal and to broaden my horizons, so I decided to come to ELP. I learned a lot of things, not only English, but also many valuable experiences. Before coming here, I did not expect to have such a great time here.

I chose ELP because it belonged to UPenn, Ivy League, at first. However, ELP had more appeal for me than what I thought before. People here are all amazing. They are so kind and sweet that I feel safe and comfortable here. Teachers and ambassadors help you with whatever you are worried about. Furthermore, studying here helped me improve my English a lot. I can feel how much better I can speak English now. After the experience of studying in ELP, I rethink my life goal. That’s because I was inspired a lot at the ELP. I believe I can do more than I think right now.
Challenges I met was to balance the time of study and enjoy the life here. Study in this program is not easy, I needed to put my effort in to learn. On the other hand, the life in Philadelphia is also fantastic. Studying is not only study in front of desks, but also traveling and meeting other people. I am the only person who can make my life wonderfully. I have to be careful in thinking what I need and what I want. Therefore, I have to manage my time. You must trust me when I say - 24 hours a day is not enough for you to enjoy ELP.
If you ask me whether want to study in ELP or not, my answer is YES. I have so much precious memories by spending time here. The people I met and the things I learned are only experienced here. I can’t thank this program enough.
