What Kevin Taylor does: He assists potential and current ELP students in the enrollment office, and is one of the first faces you see when you come to visit. He will gladly answer questions regarding your application, our programs offered, and immigration concerns. He can also assist students with obtaining official transcripts or enrollment letters. Along with his role as enrollment and operations assistant, he creates I-20s for F-1 visas as well as advises students on visa-related matters. If he does not have the answer to your question, he will help connect you to someone else or another organization with more information.
Experience: After graduating from Penn State University, he started his career in international education as an English second language teacher at a high school in Thailand. After completing his time teaching in Thailand, he continued his career at an international high school in Madrid, Spain for two years. Upon returning to the United States, he worked as a human resources assistant before joining the ELP team at Penn in June 2023, where he continues working with international students.
Travels: When he was in college, Kevin studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. This led to an internship as a tour guide in Rome, Italy. He has taught English in both Northern Thailand and Madrid, Spain. He has traveled through most countries in Europe as well as Southeast Asia, and is always looking forward to his next international adventure.
