This April, ELP Lecturer Steve Kopec will conduct a presentation entitled "'Canvas-ing' Rough Drafts: Utilizing Multimedia and Canvas to Guide Students through the Writing Process" as part of the Penn "Language without Borders: Technology Principles and Practices for Language Educators" workshop. This presentation is geared toward instructors wishing to encourage students to write drafts for short essays or longer research papers. Specifically, features of Canvas will be shared with participants to show how this course management system offers students opportunities to write more freely and explore novel ideas for papers through creative uses of the writing process.
