Penn's English Language Programs is proud to deepen our valued partnership with Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), an internationally renowned research university specializing in finance and economics, in welcoming their students to the summer 2024 Institute for Academic and Professional Studies (IAPS). Since 2016, SUFE students have joined our summer institute, bringing their talent and enthusiasm to the classroom, as well as the variety of socio-cultural activities that bring them out in the Philadelphia community. During the program, SUFE students develop knowledge of content areas such as American history and culture, leadership, technology, marketing, and psychology. They also identify and employ professional skills in communicative tasks and experience the unique academic and social culture of an Ivy League university. We look forward to meeting the new students and seeing all they learn and experience when they have the opportunity to share their personal reflections at the final showcase.
