ELP Goes to Washington, D.C.

ELP students

Hello, my name is Evelyn Martinez, and I am a Program Assistant at the ELP Student Center. On March 26th,  we were able to take the ELP to Washington, D.C. We were so excited that almost all of the students signed up to go!

There, students were able to roam the city freely. Some explored the Smithsonian museums, national monuments, Georgetown, and of course the cherry blossoms! Despite the rain, I and some students were able to fly kites and pet the cutest dogs. We walked around Chinatown, tried the multinationally-famous Nando’s, and explored the National Mall too. It was a fun and joyful day trip!
