About the Workshop

Penn's English Language Programs is offering a workshop series on pronunciation and presenting in English.  The series is recommended for international Masters, PhD, and Post-Doc students and will include five 2-hour workshops.

In these workshops, you will:

  • Make your intended meaning clearer with accurate segmental pronunciation
  • Improve word and sentence stress, linking, and intonation to enhance pronunciation
  • Increase clarity of presentational language and delivery
  • Improve self-monitoring of your language for accuracy

As the series will build on skills, students should plan to attend all workshops in the series.

Financial Aid

If you are not able to cover the cost of the workshop series, please complete the workshop registration form and indicate that you intend to apply for one of the financial aid awards. The deadline for applying for Financial Aid is October 19th.
