What Ms. Wong does: She assists potential and current ELP students in the Main Office, and is one of the first faces you see when you come to visit. She is happy to address questions regarding your application, bill, health insurance, and basic immigration concerns. She can also assist students with obtaining official transcripts or enrollment letters. If she does not have the answer to your question, she will help connect you to someone else or another organization with more information.
Experience: She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and French from the University of Portland, in Oregon. Upon graduating, she moved to Grenoble, France to work as an English teaching assistant. She later relocated to Philadelphia and served as a Refugee Resettlement Case Manager at Nationalities Service Center. She joined the ELP team in June 2016, where she continues to enjoy learning about different cultures and working with language learners.
Travels: She has studied and lived in France. Some of the favorite countries she has visited so far include Morocco, Portugal, and Belgium.
