What Mr. Salvitti does: He teaches mostly in the Intensive Program and usually conducts 400-500 level core courses. He occasionally teaches in special programs at the ELP. He tutors around the city of Philadelphia, privately and at Drexel University, as well as working with the Italian American Chamber of Commerce, where he has created intensive business English courses for Italian students visiting Philadelphia. He also sometimes teaches intensive courses in other countries, such as China.

Experience: He started teaching English in Taiwan in 2009. There he taught a wide range of ages, from toddlers to high school and college students to businessmen and grandmothers. He travelled between Asia and the United States for 5 years before joining a Master’s program at Temple University, where he graduated in Spring 2016.

Travels: He has dual citizenship with Italy and the United States, though he hasn’t been to Italy since he was a child. He did part of his undergraduate studies in India, has travelled to China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Korea, and Nepal and also earned his CELTA teacher certification in Thailand. He has spent some time in Colombia, has great memories of his many visits to Hong Kong, and lived and worked in Taiwan for two years.
