What Ms. Tedder does: She assists potential and current ELP students in the Main Office, and is one of the first faces you see when you come to visit. She is happy to address questions regarding your application, bill, heatlh insurance, and basic immigration concerns. She can also assist students with obtaining official transcripts or enrollment letters. If she does not have the answer to your question, she will help connect you to someone else or another organization with more information.
Experience: During college, she assisted the International Student Services Office at Tallahassee Community College with main office administrative tasks, as well as helping students with questions about the Tallahassee area. In 2016, she traveled to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where she taught in an intensive English program for K-12 and special needs students. Upon her return to the United States, she began working with the International Rescue Committee as a Lead Case Management Intern, where she assisted refugees during their transition to the United States. After this, she began an internship with the Center for Global Engagement at Florida State University, where she was responsible for marketing and discussing the programs available at the Center. She relocated to Philadelphia and joined the ELP team in January 2019, where she continues to enjoy learning about different cultures and working with a diverse population of students.
Travels: She has taught in Taiwan and traveled to Japan, Mexico, Hong Kong, and Russia.
