Caroline Burkhardt

What Ms. Burkhardt does: She is an instructor in the Intensive Program. She also teaches in several of the special programs, such as the Institute for Academic Studies. 

Experience: Ms. Burkhardt has been teaching at ELP for one year. Prior to joining ELP, she taught English for numerous years to learners of all levels and ages, from middle schoolers to adult immigrants to international university students! One highlight from her teaching career was serving as an instructor at Jiangxi University of Technology in China for two years. Caroline has also designed English curriculum and cross-cultural training workshops for different organizations.  

Travels: Ms. Burkhardt has worked, volunteered, studied, and traveled in 30 countries. Her favorite experiences overseas have always involved teaching and conversing with students, especially over a good meal! As far as international teaching goes, Caroline worked at schools in Chile, Mexico, Great Britain, and China.
