Amy Nichols

LPS Director of Implementation, Assessment, and International Initiatives

What Ms. Nichols does: She works on custom program development, including program design and budgeting. She also helps design curriculum and teach in business English and academic support programs for specific University of Pennsylvania Masters programs at the Wharton School and in the College of Liberal and Professional Studies.

Experience: She has been working and teaching in the English Language Programs at the University of Pennsylvania (ELP) since September 2004. Before coming to the ELP, she lived in Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia, where she taught English in a program financed by the International Monetary Fund. She also has extensive business experience. She has served as a lecturer and a teaching assistant at The Wharton School, worked as a consultant for a software company and held a managerial position at General Electric.

Travels: She has lived and taught in Mongolia and has visited over twenty countries including China, Cambodia, Colombia, Guatemala, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
