What Kyra Raphaelidis does: She teaches low-intermediate and high-intermediate students, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. She is specifically interested in descriptive (not prescriptive) grammar and how people use grammar to communicate subtle meaning.

Experience: She taught in public K-12 in California, Virginia, and North Carolina for 12 years before coming to the ELP in 2013.

Travels: She lived in Greece for 12 years as a child, studied abroad in Ghana, and taught in Namibia for three years. She has traveled in Central America and all over Africa.
