More Universities Drop SAT II Requirement

Colombia University, Duke University, and Vassar College all have this in common. Now Amherst College, Darmouth College, and Williams College do too. All of these universities no longer require applicants to submit scores from the SAT subject tests, often called the SAT IIs. Boston Globe reporter, Laura Krantz, explains "The shift occcurs amid a larger discussion in higher education about the value of standardized testing in admissions."
